Shane Comellas
Lead Pastor
Shane Comellas is the lead pastor of Covenant Life. He has a unique passion for motivating people towards lasting change and strives to inspire them with his unique brand of leadership. He ministers with a candid, fiery style that God has used to bring thousands to Christ across this nation and around the world. Pastor Shane served in the US Army, has a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Southeastern University and a Masters in Divinity and his Doctorate of Ministry from Duke Divinity School. Shane and his wife Jaimee have four daughters: Jaelyn, Avery, Olivia, and Adeline.
Steven Hoyle
Worship Pastor
Steven Hoyle is the worship pastor at Covenant Life Church. Steven has been in ministry for twenty two years. He is passionate about leading people into the presence of God. He has experience as a live and studio musician. If you are interested in joining the worship team, contact him.
Jaelyn Comellas

Jaimee Comellas
Kids Ministry Director
Jaimee Comellas is the CL Kid’s director. She has a BA in Elementary Education, a Minor in Bible and is a Nationally Board Certified Educator. Jaimee spent most of her formative years in the Dominican Republic with her missionary family, and has spent much of her adult life ministering to children. Jaimee is bilingual, mother to 4 amazing daughters and is a Gifted Education Specialist for Chapel Hill Schools.
Baranda Harris
City Groups Coordinator
Baranda Harris is a Raleigh, NC native and a graduate of St. Augustine’s College with a BS in Business Administration and Accounting. Baranda retired in 2017 with 30 years as an Audit Manager and is the mother of one daughter, Jennifer. She came to Covenant Life by following her husband to his place of worship and is serving the church as our city group coordinator.
Gabriel White
Youth Pastor
Gabe White is the Associate and Youth Pastor for Covenant Life. Gabe is an NC native, having grown up in Fuquay-Varina.
He is also a Credentialed Minister with the Assemblies of God. Pastor Gabe has a heart to see the next generation come to know Jesus and to see God move in the mental health crisis. In his free time you will find him playing a variety of musical instruments, or cheering on the NC State Wolfpack.
