Shane Comellas
Lead Pastor
Shane Comellas is the lead pastor of Covenant Life. He has a unique passion for motivating people towards lasting change and strives to inspire them with his unique brand of leadership. He ministers with a candid, fiery style that God has used to bring thousands to Christ across this nation and around the world. Pastor Shane served in the US Army, has a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Southeastern University and a Masters in Divinity and his Doctorate of Ministry from Duke Divinity School. Shane and his wife Jaimee have four daughters: Jaelyn, Avery, Olivia, and Adeline.

Steven Hoyle
Worship Pastor
Steven Hoyle is the worship pastor at Covenant Life Church. Steven has been in ministry for twenty two years. He is passionate about leading people into the presence of God. He has experience as a live and studio musician. If you are interested in joining the worship team, contact Steven.
Jaimee Comellas
Executive Pastor / Kids Director
Jaimee Comellas is the CL Executive Pastor. She has a BA in Elementary Education, a Minor in Bible and is a Nationally Board Certified Educator. Jaimee spent most of her formative years in the Dominican Republic with her missionary family, and has spent much of her adult life ministering to children. Jaimee is bilingual, mother to 4 amazing daughters and is a Gifted Education Specialist for Chapel Hill Schools.
Myrna Inacio
Benevolence Director
Myrna Inacio a dedicated wife of Bill Inacio for 29 Years and mother to Joshua and Tomas. She loves serving God, helping others, and has been blessed to serve as the Covenant Life Church Benevolence Director with God as the head along with a great team. She has an active RN license and is an Addiction Counselor in Training.

Financial Administrator & Legacy Team Director

As the Financial Administrator at Covenant Life Church, I manage our kingdom resources with absolute transparency, stewardship, and strategic vision. My role centers on overseeing the church’s financial health—from directing our annual budget meetings to meticulously tracking every dollar of incoming tithes and outgoing operational expenses.
Beyond balancing the books, I have the privilege of leading our Legacy Team, a dedicated group of high-capacity givers who leverage their spiritual gift of generosity to fund long-term church visions and launch creative growth initiatives.
I also oversee our Missions financial tracking, translating numbers into impact by creating the visual snapshots and media updates you see on Sundays. My mission is to ensure that your financial giving is efficiently deployed, fully accountable, and directly connected to lives being transformed.
Areas of Oversight
Financial Stewardship: Directing budget development, cash flow tracking, and institutional compliance.
Legacy Giving: Leading specialized donor initiatives and creative funding programs for church expansion.
Missions Accountability: Tracking global impact funds and producing congregation-wide media updates.

Earl and Baranda Harris
Reach ministry, Benevolence
Since 2012
Earl joined the staff in 2012 as a minister, leading the prison ministry, food distribution and presently an elder. He currently picks up food for our food pantry weekly.
Baranda has served in many capacities at CLC. Presently co-leading the online Bible study called “A Walk Through the Word “.
Earl and Baranda were married in 2016 and have a non profit leading men who have been justice involved and the homeless away from a life of crime into better living situations.

Young Adult Ministry Leader

My husband and I lead the Young Adult group where we plan Bible studies and worship nights.
Anyone between the ages of 18-30 who want to join Bible study, and grow in community with those around your age!
My husband, Sheldon, and I bought a house in Wendell, NC, a couple years ago. This year, we welcomed our first beautiful little baby!
I love reading, window shopping, and recently started to sew! My husband usually makes my coffee with our espresso machine but the Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato is my favorite coffee ever (only in the fall though)!

Hanna-Mari Salo
Online Ministry

Hanna started as an elder in 2025 and is leading our online ministry team. Hanna has a passion for worship, arts, music and other things that glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.
She also leads two City Groups with her husband Markus.
