WHAT’S SERVICE LIKE?

A Welcoming Environment

From the moment you walk through the doors of CLC our hope is for you to experience genuine hospitality that makes you feel welcomed.  Relax and enjoy something warm and wonderful to eat and drink while gathering in our comfortable lounge where there’s always room for good food and conversation. In the life of CLC there are many occasions where we share meals and fellowship while celebrating special occasions or milestones in the church. We want you to experience the transforming love of Jesus through the time spent breaking bread and sharing together as a community.

Experience Powerful Worship

Each service begins with an intentional time of worship. Our worship team will lead us in 20-25 minutes of powerful worship that is designed to encourage you to engage with the Lord and prepare your heart to hear the message. We recognize that some people may prefer to keep smaller children with them during the service. If you feel the music is too loud for your child, we have ear protection available for children.

Practical and Biblical Messages

When you attend Covenant Life Church, you can count on hearing a Biblical message that will hold practical relevance for your daily life. We believe that God has a purpose for your life and we design each of our messages to help you discover that purpose and learn how to live into that reality in your life. We record each sermon and post them online in case you want to listen again or happen to miss one of our services.

Real Connection

Life isn’t meant to be lived alone. We want you to feel like Covenant Life Church is your family from day one. One way we strive to accomplish this goal is throuch CLC Connect. Stop by CLC Connect before or after the service to ask a question, pick up our gift to you, and receive a tour of the church. Whether you are signing up for the next Discover Dinner or joining one of our City Groups, CLC Connect is your key to getting involved at CLC.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR CHILDREN?

The Mother’s Room

We have a special room reserved for nursing mothers. Our mother’s room is located in the back of the auditorium next. The room is designed to be a quiet and comfortable space for you. You will find a changing station stocked with extra supplies in case you forgot something at home. Additionally, we provide rocking chairs, a lamp, and a lockable door for your privacy. If you need anything else, please let one of our hosts know.

Nursery

Our nursery is designed for kids ages 6 weeks until they are potty trained. Our nursery aged students have their own praise and worship time through a DVD series called “Praise Baby,” where they are invited to dance and sing in God’s presence. During the Sunday morning time, they also learn about various stories throughout the Bible. Their curriculum is developed to follow the outline of the Preschool class, but in much shorter increments for their developing attention span. They are provided with a snack and individual play time, as they continue to learn and explore God’s world. They will bring home color sheets and crafts that will provide you with an idea of the lesson they learned that day.

Kid’s Quest!

Once our praise and worship time is complete, we separate out into 2 groups– Preschool aged and Elementary School aged. The elementary aged kids have a time of learning a Power Verse from the Bible each week. Then they hear an illustrated sermon from various scriptures throughout the Bible. During this time, they are challenged to take a new understanding of Bible stories they are already familiar with, by applying that story to their life. After each illustrated sermon, there is a life application time, when through guided discussion the students are learning how to relate each story of the Bible to their own lives in practical ways. This time is followed by a time of prayer and worship, in which all students are encouraged to come to the altar and pray individually or with a leader as they are learning to grow closer to God. Each lesson is followed up with an activity and game that help make the story “stick” with the kids. There are also various fun object lessons that help the kids remember these important Biblical truths that are shared with them on a weekly basis.
